because it is the most prosperous city around. A beautiful site
where passions and excess reign.
Nobody knows it but tomorrow the 30 000 inhabitants will die in 3
minutes. Paradise will turn to Hell. The Mount Pelée is going to
destroy the town and it will remains only ruins. Hundreds of
snakes will leave the volcano for reaching the countryside. People
will be running, screaming and dying in a blow. Biblical plague ?
Whatever happens, 2 of them will be saved.
Yes, but who ?
Eva, the little creole girl of 7 years old, skipping school this morning with her friend Samuel for playing to hide and seek ?
Balthazar the bandit who will escape from jail this day ?
Or Lucien, the unfaithfull cobbler who will choose this day to end his life ?
In any event, these 3 people will meet somebody who will give them the choice to be rescued.
But will they do the right thing ?
